Stay home if you’re sick and don’t take part in sport or recreation if you have flu-like symptoms, self-isolate at home and get tested immediately.
UHWTC Guidelines and Recommendations during level 1 (This section will be updated as changes occur)
During level 1 monitoring of movement is still necessary, therefore the following requirements during walks have been put in place:
- Before commencement, the trip leader will complete a register of each member participating in the walk. This information must include:
– Name, address, phone number, email, initial meeting location and final destination. (Please read disclosure statement at bottom of these requirements).
- Hand sanitiser will still be available at the start of a walk (you may wish to supply your own).
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is at the discretion of individual members.
- PLB’s are available for loan and will still be sanitised before distribution.
Personal details disclosure statement
The information collected is to assist in the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be given to the Ministry of Health and/or the District Health Board on request in the event it is required for contact tracing purposes. We will not use it for any other purpose and will destroy it after four weeks. It will be kept here at the Upper Hutt Walking and Tramping Club. You have a right to access and correct any information we hold about you.
The committee realises that even at Level 1 there are still concerns of a possible re occurrence of the virus although slight the above requirements will still be in place until MoH advises otherwise to the general public.
